Fresh Paint #2 wood print by Jane Davies. Bring your artwork to life with the texture and added depth of a wood print. Your image gets printed directly onto a sheet of 3/4" thick maple wood. There are D-clips on the back of the print for mounting it to your wall using mounting hooks and nails (included).

This is one of a series of pieces I'm doing called 'Fresh Paint'. I create the piece start to finish on a Thursday, and post it on Friday.

Got this for my fiancé for his birthday.. he is a huge larry bird fan.. I mean.. beyond. he has excel spreadsheets proving why Larry is the best of all time... He absolutely loved this gift. Totally wasn't expecting it. I know it made him tear up a little, he was in such disbelief. Arguably one of the best sports illustrated covers of all time. The quality is incredible. This was great. I then ordered a canvas of Thomas Merton and got some cheap poorly stapled piece. Sent it back Saturday. Hope I get a refund. Yesterday I ordered Our Sister Thea Bowman on canvas. Hope it comes as ordered and like St. Lazarus of Bethany.

About Jane Davies
Jane Davies is a full time artist working in collage, painting, and encaustics. She offers workshops at her studio and nationwide, focusing on helping people to find a personal and playful approach to creating. Beginning as a potter in the early nineties, Davies gradually transitioned into freelance art, using painting and collage as her medium. For the past several years she has put most of her efforts towards teaching, writing, and having fun making art. She is the author of three books on collage and mixed media, one on ceramics, and has one DVD on painting and collage techniques.
